Wherever We Are, Inc is dedicated to repairing, replenishing, and recasting the lives of society’s most vulnerable. We are intentional in our commitment to changing the discouraging statistics that shape the lives of young Black boys. We envision a world where young Black boys are nurtured in healing homes — safe, stable environments that restore dignity, affirm identity and foster generational growth. Beyond housing, our vision reaches into the heart of community transformation, where crisis response, holistic care and strategic partnerships create a network of support for the most vulnerable among us. Whether in moments of calm or catastrophe, we are devoted to building a future rooted in restoration, equity and empowerment.

Establish Healing Homes:

Launch and sustain residential programs specifically designed to provide trauma-informed care and long-term support for young Black boys in need of safe, nurturing environments.

Expand Emergency Response Efforts:

Continue to serve as a vital resource in times of crisis by providing essentials, food and care to affected families, elders and displaced individuals — including recent recovery efforts in response to the St. Louis tornadoes.

Foster Strategic Partnerships:

Strengthen collaboration with fellow nonprofits, local community leaders, and healthcare partners such as the Red Cross, to deliver comprehensive services that addresses both immediate and systemic needs.

Advance Community Healing:

Offer programming, advocacy and resources that promote healing, mental wellness, and resilience among marginalized populations, especially young Black boys and their extended communities.
